My son Sigmund was baptized about 2 weeks ago in the local church here in Valby called Jesuskirken. The church was builded in 1891 and was drawn by architect Vilhelm Dahlerup (who’s created many prominent buildings in Copenhagen) for Carl Jacobsen (Carl as in Carlsberg), who besides brewing beer was an avid art collector and philantropist, which shows both in the Carlsberg ‘compound’ (check some of my flicks from there) and in the church. So many amazing details and I really loved the icon like nature these ones, which was part of the decoration.
