Bo's Update

Above pic shows the dashboard of the Nissan Leaf. As part of my work at etrans, I am looking into how we can make the experience of the electric car better, more convenient and all around attractive. One of the potential areas we have identified and currently working with is what we have called ‘Smart Data’. App’s such as the

carwings feature implemented in the Leaf dash, which ranks the car and drivers ability to drive economically and awards the best with Gold or Platinum. And it seems like a feature some drives find fun and motivating.

Also of interest is that Ford has chosen to present their Ford Electric tomorrow at CES along side Consumer Electronics, instead of at the Detroit motor show the following week.
