I have (like most of you all) noticed the UI update that the Google design team is currently rolling out over their products and platform, timed with the launch of Google+, I guess.
I think the updated look and feel is a great improvement - and of course I like the use of icons. I am hoping they’ll also change the browser bar icon.
My son Sigmund was baptized about 2 weeks ago in the local church here in Valby called Jesuskirken. The church was builded in 1891 and was drawn by architect Vilhelm Dahlerup (who’s created many prominent buildings in Copenhagen) for Carl Jacobsen (Carl as in Carlsberg), who besides brewing beer was an avid art collector and philantropist, which shows both in the Carlsberg ‘compound’ (check some of my flicks from there) and in the church. So many amazing details and I really loved the icon like nature these ones, which was part of the decoration.
I am a sucker for icons. Just stumbled upon this set called Hobo Jungle made by (the talented couple) Eight Hour Day, inspired by Hoboglyphs and codes.
Nice set of icons of modern design icons. Not sure who made these? Similar to this.
