    Today I taught 20 something business developers from DONG Energy about prototyping ideas in order to explore, test or communicate them more efficiently. Here’s a phone shot of some of the tools they could choose from. I was very impressed by the participants’ energy and work. + a pleasure to work with Mette (head of etrans) & Morten (from Experience Strategy).  Update: More photos from the 2 day workshop now online at etrans’ flickr

    I can’t believe that it’s 2011 and it’s the first time I’ven seen something like this. There’s an amazing amount of interactions with the public sector which could be designed to work better. Alpha.gov.uk is an experimental prototype of a single UK Government website. It aims to be as simple as possible, and to place the needs of citizens first. Developed in under three months by a small team within the Government Digital Service, it is a direct response to Martha Lane Fox’s recent review of gov.uk, which demanded revolution, not evolution, in the way Government services are delivered online.
